Francias Lawrence (Constantine) is attached to the project as director, which has me optimistic.
Richard Matheson is also responsible for the novels behind What Dreams May Come, Stir of Echoes, Duel, and the two previous movies adapted from I Am Legend are: The Omega Man (1971) and The Last Man on Earth (1964).
Apparently, one of his other novels, "The Shrinking Man" has been announced to be re-adapted ... or remade, since the other movie was called The Incredible Shrinking Man as is this version.
Hopefully, these adaptations will be better than ones before it, since What Dreams May Come is an example of a Matheson novel properly adapted. Given the rich material Matheson writes about, it would actually be difficult to not make a good movie based on them ... but it has happened before. I stay optimistic, however, with Lawrence attached I have no fears. Yet, Shrinking Man has Keanen Ivory Waynes attached as the director ... the "smartest" movie he's ever made was "White Chicks" ...
... Yeah ... Chew some gum it might help get the bad taste out of your mouth.

I need a "Thumbnail Generator" guys.
Not a "Web Thumbnail Generator" but a genuine thumbnail making program.
Preferably, one that can do multiple images at once.
Web generators make pages for posting on websites.

*bumps*
I know that some of you are prolly laughing but this is becoming a serious issue.
I have found so far:
10 dead links and
about a dozen Web thumbnail generators.
Doesn't anyone know a free thumbnail maker thats just a thumbnail maker?
I do not want an entire webpage, I only want to make a few thumbs so I can write a new tutorial.
Yes, before you ask, I could have already made a bunch of resized images using PSP and don't think that I haven't already kicked myself in the ass for not doing so but, I thought it would be simple as going to www.download.com
What does this have to do with "recently found" ???
I recently found that its hard as hell to find a thumbnail generator on 56k. Just another reason why I hate it. ![]()

I have come to the conclusion, after many hours of effort that... This tutorial will have to wait until I get back from this run.
I never imagined it would be this hard to find a stupid program.
If anyone thinks of a program while I am away, please send a PM with the link.

I may not be the oldest, but I am the oldest dumb person here. What did you just say again? In layman's terms.

Resize the image to 200x150
Tweak the brightness and contrast
Sharpen
Save the file with "_thumb.jpg" appended to the filename
Close the image
...then stop recording. Now you just open up a bunch of images, select one, and hit the "play" button for your macro. All of the above actions will be carried out quickly and automatically. You can also set up batch processing in most of these programs so that it will automatically run the macro on all the images in a folder, or the like.
Now actually using these tools depends one which on you have, but if you search for your graphics package of choice and "macro recording" or something you should find plenty of tutorials explaining it.

Thats the missing key. I would have been sorely depressed had this part been missing because... I use google a lot but if you search wrong, you end up with a lot of wrong searching.
Thanx guys.
It sucks being the oldest dumb person sometimes.

Most of us oldtimers are so far beyond 666 that we seldom look anymore but the 666 thing has been that way for a while.
Anyway, I bumped Morph up to a 5 and it seems to have been overkill cause he shot past 666

I'm just wondering if they're going to have it be the symbiote or what ... Raimi said he doesn't like venom yet here we are. (Also, doing Venom now before, oh I don't know, The Lizard, is a can of worms that can't be contained) I also have a sneaking suspicion they're going to flip the roles of Mary Jane and Gwen Stacey as in MJ = Dead and teach SM a lesson and GS = Bones him when they get married.
Oh well, whatever, Whatever they do will be good, and I kind of want them to adapt the source material instead of just showing it. Something few comic fans can understand, I think. It's just like they started a new title or something. Oh well.
Here's the picture: BIG and Small ... just the way Orph likes it.
Note* Don't get on my ass if you don't like the 100KB size of the small one, they're remotely linked and I'm not hosting them. If someone else wants to: go for it.

I just found this site, and I really got a kick out of it. Especially the forums. You have got to see the forums! I really hope that this is a joke and that such idiots don't really exist.

A bit touchy there Crono? Seems to me that a warning was all it ever took to forestall a gripe, from anyone. ![]()
To bad though, you are still catching it for dead links. BTW, LINKS ARE BROKEN! " SRC="images/smiles/icon_wink.gif">
