HL2 played with a Wii controller!

It's a real ugly, early hack but non-fake. I don't know how I can get so excited about a console I'll probably never own but it's so funny to watch the you-tube documented big N vs Sony fan-wars.

I should grab a bluetooth antenna for my computer. Though, someone should inform these guys that the sensor bar does nothing but transmit strong IR beams, which can easily be simulated with other objects ... like candles. The Wii-Remote does all the work otherwise. (Maybe they already know that though).

Blame it on Microsoft, God does.

Stefan G. Bucher's Daily Monster

Some really creative drawings beginning with a drop or two of ink and some air. I wonder how many Sharpies this guy goes through in a month...

There's little doubt that Japanese TV is the most extreme and exotic form of screen entertainment there is. Now I found what sounds obvious since the rise of YouTube & Co but I was still pleasantly surprised to find a Blog about Japanese TV.

Animes featuring Bill Gates as a mad world leader, giant mecha robots showing up in talkshows, things that cannot possibly described in our language. All the things you heard about but somehow never really saw before. Beautiful.

While you're at it, can you lose about 50 pounds and a decade or so?

I'll mail you the T-Shirt. You can have it.

A search engine, wikipedia-style

Interesting. Could be a true competition for google!

You can't compete with Google, sorry.

They were broken, he said, because they lacked freedom, community, accountability and transparency.
Does that mean Wikipedia is a golden standard of excellence? If it does, I'll stay with my googles tyvm.

I think it'll probably be one hell of a search engine for anime, porn, and internet memes. The longest, most detailed articles on the wikipedia are almost always about anime or internet memes, and any connection to either that could possibly be made with any subject is documented and linked. It's all because the most active members of the wikipedia 'community' are internet trolls, who stereotypically watch almost nothing but anime, flash cartoons, and porn.

By all means, fix the whole "accountability and transparency" thing however you think you can, but honestly I'd rather have my searches guided by a handful of programmers than a 'community' from all corners of the internet.

lol @ forceflow.

About the wikigoogle... Google recently "re-arranged" a lot of their search results in a manner that many consider a form of manipulation. Google is getting so big... I mean I like google but it's only a matter of time for it to misuse it's powers.

I just found one of the most helpful programs ever.

I'm sure you all know this kind of error: "The file is in use by another program or user."

It can get really annoying and there's no way you can access the file. It doesn't even tell you which program uses it.

Now here's the solution:

http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/ - "Unlocker"

It lets you access, delete, copy files blocked by windows because of this error. It's freeware, small and saved me a lot of time and trouble.
