Who said it wasn't a recording?

It was a message from GameStop. They did a promotion with Martinet (who has done the voice of Mario since ~1991) to do a special recording to be sent to people who pre-ordered Mario Galaxy.

Are you that obtuse? Seriously?

I just thought it was neat thing, as the normal call is the automated female voice-mo-tron 3000.

Blame it on Microsoft, God does.

There is a major exploit in GravelPit for TF2. An engineer can build turrets under the terrain. So, the other team gets killed over and over without seeing it.
I hope Valve gets on the ball to fix it.

Apparently it was supposed to be fixed in yesterdays update, but I've heard mixed reports if it worked or not.

Edit: Another update has been released and the problem fixed:

Was very annoying when it happened though, very satisfying sapping and backstabbing the engy's as a spy though image

Good news! Deus Ex 3 has been officially announced.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the success of Bioshock and publishers picking up more complex, story-driven FPSers again? And I hope they learned from the horribly consolized Deus Ex 2.

Edit: Well, strike that, Warren Spector apparently won't be involved in this so, unless Eidos Montreal turns out to be a total surprise-super-talent, we'll see just another faceless sequel.

I'm not sure if I should start playing again or not, I felt the urge to level something up, but then I logged in with my old character with all skills unlocked, and starting over suddely felt a bit pointless. :P

The sick thing is how incredibly addicted I was to the game the first time around, and how I posted updates on my character etc in the snarkpit thread. Proof of how little graphics matter when it comes to good games.
