Well, it seems this thread really doesn;t fit into map editting. Or
art, and such. So I ask here. How do I make my own HUD in CS:S?

Cool thing known commonly as Google.
You type in what you want, and it gives it to you!
1st things that pop up are
How to rearrange HUD: http://www.csevolution.com/tuts2.htm
Custom DoD:S one (Not CS but I'm sure they're almost exactly the same process) http://halflife2.filefront.com/info/dodshudcustom
If you dig a little deeper you're bound to come up with exactly what you want.

And even if youre allergic to Google or something and feel the need to ask, wait more than 3 hours for a response.

I used Google when I wanted to find out about it and I found a handy program that lets you change it with ease and even gives you a preview.

Overrated... There's no way to justify that share price considering that basically the only way they make money is through ads.

The Hud is acuatly a collection of "letters" in a font. Spefically the HalfLife2.ttf file.
There is a config for the hud in some of the script files (HudLayout.res). If you want to make new weapon icons, you need to make your own font. There is a linux font maker available on Sourceforge.
You can open a .res file with notepad.
Hope this helps you.
