I've made a database for modding tutorials:
http://www.acidvat.com/?view=remotetutorials
The database only links to tutorials.

May i add tutorials from this site to the database?

Leperous isn't here, but I know his answer:
Yes, but pay Stadric first

Plenty of people link this place's tutorials on a daily basis, and Lep hasn't complained yet(unless they're secretly bribing him) <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_wink.gif">

Feel free to link to our user tutorials. As long as all the content stays on here, everything is good.

Good luck with your project, looks to be very useful.

Does SnarkPit do affiliates?

We don't, as far as I'm aware. I'd be happy to add a front page news article about the site though, and get you linked.

Cool <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">
On Saturday i'll be posting the new numbers (how many tuts added this week, how many for each game), you should be able to make a nice news post out of that. I'll post here about them for you.

There's always this link page, although the route to it through the links seems a bit obscure so I doubt there's that much traffic from there.

The only tutorial worth linking to is my image optimization one. It gets more hits than any other. In fact I hear its whacked with bigger and bigger things every day. <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif">

Loco, Thanks <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">
It only takes a second, so it's easy traffic, even if it's not much.

Orpheus, Well, it's in the database :P

Forceflow, Ta. It seems to have gone down guite well at many places. Just needs a more pro looking skin.

All humor aside, the links lead all to the same page. Fortunately (or not) it is the Snarkpit tutorial section.

Gwil, here's the numbers in mentioned:

159 Red Alert 2
126 Half-Life 2
109 Warcraft 3
84 Generals
71 Renegade
69 Tiberian Sun
29 Battle for Middle-Earth
14 Quake 3 Arena
11 Unreal Tournament 2004

If you need an image, there are lots of different sized ones here: http://www.acidvat.com/?view=linkus

Orpheus, That was just a small php error, now fixed and working <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">

My HLCC tutorial is for HL1 not HL2. A small error but one that could be confusing.

This is not related to the tutdb, but i don't think it needs a whole topic:

Is there a HL2 Webbies Board?

The Command & Conquer community has a simple forum which can only be seen by webmasters of C&C fan sites. Where we share news or report content stealing or anything else where it's handy to talk with lots of other webbies who follow the same game.

Does HL2 have such a thing?

Not as far as I'm aware, but I wouldn't suspect it would get used much if there were.

Hi again <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">
Thought i'd come by and mention my new Links Rotor. It displays all the sites in the rotor, giving them hits. Kind of like a compact affiliate system.

It's brand new, so not many sites in it yet, but i'm giving it some mentions, so should soon fill up.
