What I listen to while mapping is whatever I'm listening to that week. Usually I'll load up a playlist of similar artists 2 to 3 hours long and let it loop while I'm at my computer (closing winamp when I need to hear or when I need all the CPU cycles I can get)... and I don't change the playlist for days or even a week or more

I had a playlist with the albums "The Downward Spiral" and "The Fragile" plus a few other NIN songs running for weeks (about 180 hours altogether) but sometimes I'll leave it on while I'm AFK. Amazingly I rarely get bored of the music I listen to, and if I do it's most likely the music's fault.

Ever associate certain rooms or maps with the music you were listening to when you made them? That happens to me every time.

Your early rooms musta had big and empty music then Nick.
Sorry, I know thats not true, but I couldn't resist. Perhaps a bit of Simon & Garfunkel?
