I'm having trouble with quicktime not showing any videos in my browser. I have the newest version of quicktime installed and I have the plugin that enables me to see videos online. It's plugin 5 which is the newest version. However when I go to a website like Comcast.net I get the merror message....The Quicktime Plug-in requires the Quicktime extension version 5 or later.
Anyone know what's wrong?
P.S. Still can't see my own words in post.

Uninstall and reinstall the plugin. Be sure to get rid of it completely, since it leaves some folders around IIRC.
Try it both ways: downloading the installer from the apple site manually and installing it, and installing it internally from FF 1.5.
And if posting isn't working disable javascript posting in your Snarkpit profile > preferences.
PS: Assuming FF 1.5 since that's the browser that most commonly has trouble with posting here.
