I have a few questions:

#1: If water's transparent, why do things get darker when they get wet?

More than likely its due to refraction. I am not sure but sounds right to me.

Morophiene-

Source 1 is pretty terrible, but I'd say source 2 is likely to be correct.

This is my guess: The primary effect is probably the increase in internal reflections caused by the air-water-material interface. Water is Transparent, but as any boater knows, it's also quite reflective. Light that makes it though the water into the base material then has to make it back out again, and there is a significant probability that it will reflect off the air-water interface and never reach your eye.

Of course! It all makes sense now.

Better to be in denial than to be human.

Where you do ever hardly, I hardly ever do.

But what the heck is up with "Classroom Wood?" It's always the SAME class, the SAME time, and ONLY (miraculously) right before the teacher asks you to stand up and do a math problem on the board for the class.

Yeah... I seemed to always get a NARB (non-aroused random boner) in my 9:30 am spanish class for absolutely no reason... like clockwork too.

Also, if I'm sitting in a car for a long time I always seem to get a NARB right before I have to get out of the car, and it won't go away.

This reminds me of a really embarrassing hospital story....

I should start an embarrassing story thread so I can share it.

He's lurking, not posting. According to his profile he logged in today.

He's probably busy with work and CS tutorials <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">
