It's in the root of the drive the operating system is on. "C:boot.ini" for example, it's a system file, so, you have to be able to view those.

(I checked a 2000 computer quickly before posting this, and it's the same)

As for editing the file ... I think the only issue is it'll be set to read-only or something, nothing too major. That's all I remember anyway.

Orph, you could easily put the program anywhere, as long as you mount the directory it's in in the "PATH" variable.

Blame it on Microsoft, God does.

Yeah well, I got used to msconfig with Win98 and Winme both but when I got Win2000pro, I noticed... IT WAS MISSING!

I really liked 2000, its very stable compared to 98 and ME.

Anyway, I have since moved on to XP corp and wouldn't change it for anything earlier.

Funny, I never figured out why it was missing. *shrugs*

Your reply had nothing to do with what I said.

But, yes, it is "missing" ... just for the hell of it, here's a page with a XP and 98 version (used for 2000 and 95 respectively).

Why is it that sometimes I get the feeling that you haven't figured that out yet?

I get it. It's just annoying. I'd actually prefer, sometimes, if you didn't reply at all if what you plan on saying is not even a reply but a re-hash of what you just said.

I'm getting really tired of people giving me "blank looks" when I talk to them. Like me talking to them is an exam or something. Anyway, whatever.

Crono, I never realized that having fun was a test for you. Testing your patience I mean.

Perhaps, you should look around and see exactly how many people want to.

You make liking you, very difficult.

They get into what I call "nothing fights". Fights about absolutely nothing. Right? You see them waiting in line at the movie theater. They hold hands but its not loving at all. It's like rigormortis, rheumatoid arthritis, red-rover grip that they've got going on. And everythings an argument:
"I should probably bring my jacket, I might get cold."
"You bring your f**king jacket."
"You think?"
"Do you think? YES. What if they're pumping AC in there and then you're cold I gotta go out and I miss the previews cuz I gotta get your f**king jacket. Bring your jacket."
I love nothing fights.

Gwil, you should know that if Orph says something that has nothing to do with what you said and it's meant to be a reply, there was a blank look involved. (It was also in quotes)

That was a more general comment anyway.

Orph, Taking things a little personally? :P

Orph, Taking things a little personally?

Moi?

Nah, as far as I know, nothing you have ever said has made such an impact upon me as to be thought of as "personally"

I will admit that when I do take things personally, no one seems to understand because the thing is of no importance to them what-so-ever. Case in point, Morph inadvertently told me to shut up. He doesn't see it as such, and I assume, no one else did either but the fact remained I did.

Weird ain't it...

I just love it when you have a discussion as if, I weren't here to see it. <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_lol.gif">

That, is a "personally" thing BTW bud. It is considered rude in most social events. <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/heee.gif">

Why the f**k do people point to their nose sometimes. Like, when someone asks a question, they'll tap their nose. Does it mean "No"?

Hmmm, I just saw one half of a show, I don't know the demon fox (thank goodness!) What's the story with that?
