Newegg still got the lowest price, even according to pricegrabber.com. The same model is listed for $299.00 at pricegrabber.

I am glad though, because I already paid for it at newegg.com. <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_wink.gif">

Not if one is determined to have those inches... (ahem) Get your mind out of the gutter gents. :dodgy:

One thing I have noticed is, no matter the purchase origin, a deal is only a deal if you do not feel like you were screwed.

If I wanted a 400 dollar monitor, and I liked my 400 dollar monitor, it wouldn't bother me to find a 350 dollar monitor of the same specs. As long as, I liked it.

*shrugs*

I reckon its all perspective.

Personally, I might have chosen Docs money and picked out a less named variety, but shot for 20 inches. I dunno.

That's your opinion, you're entitled to it, regardless of what others think(that's the beauty of it!)

I personally prefer having money, though :o

I have a Acer AL1916w which is a really nice one.

It gives a nice clear picture and has a really nice 8ms responce time and plays HL2 fine along with everything elce i use it for.

I just installed my 19" LCD.

Unfortunately, it has one dead pixel. But I could live with that.

However, when I tried playing Half-Life 2 again, the ammo display in the HUD is messed up. It's kinda split into sections. I can't really read the ammo that way.

I am sure someone else has had this problem before too, but after searching through the forum and the Steam support (plus Googling), I failed to find a solution for this.

Anyone has any ideas?

[EDIT]: Nevermind. I changed the resolution. When I restarted the game, everything was fine.

Yeah satch, HL2 does that everytime you change resolution. Just restart and it should fix itself.
