This, from a guy who lives in one of the most densely populated places in the world. " SRC="images/smiles/rofl.gif">
In a way, I do know what you mean Frag. I have been driving for years now and the one thing that still amazes me is just how small the world is. I can drive 1,000 miles in almost any direction in just one day. I can go to my moms house, return home and then return to her house in the same day if I wished. (She lives in south Texas. Quite a distance I assure you)
I have left here and spent the night in norther Pennsylvania, or left here and spent the night in Arizona.
My point is, the world is only as big as you find out it is. It used to be much bigger until I started driving and found out differently.

Some of those SideWinders have that vibrating force-feedback stuff too. Textured, rubber handgrips and stuff...
About pr0n. That stuff is so freakin' annoying, I can't go to a nice hacking site without getting pr0n pop-ups...

Good one.
I don't get the impression that it increased any at all. The flavor has altered a bit, but porn was as easy to obtain in the pre-internet days as it is now.
I guess its a matter of perspective maybe. I was born in the 60's. Sex was looked at differently then maybe. Now, children are a bit more sheltered in the preteen times than when I was one.
Perhaps its location. I grew up in Phoenix. I had girlfriends when I was 6 and played "house" very shortly afterward. Maybe the bigger city life is influencing my judgment.
When I was a kid, everyone had at least one copy of playboy. (or its equivalent)

Sorry orph I have to disagree with you. There is a significant difference between walking to your adult book store in trench coat and buying those kinds of books, as opposed to hopping on the internet and going to google and typing in "Hot Sexy Bitches" and getting a hit of over 100,000 sites.
Sure you can argue that you have to pay to get to the good stuff (if you call internet smuck good). But a 10 year old alone in his house (who disabled the "nany" plug in) has a better chance of finding stuff on the internet than running down to his local adult book/video store and buying stuff.

What I am saying is, it was as easy to get before the net. Sure, there are a million websites but seriously, after the first 10,000 or so pictures it tends to get a bit boring don't you think?
My point is, accessibility hasn't changed. Quantity and quality has, but I had access to playboy as a boy.
Perhaps my meaning is a bit hazy Omega. If there isn't at least one adult book/magazine in your house, its because you have not found it yet.

Why do you think Penthouse and Playboy subscriptions are down so much these days?
