Internet = Instant Access to Videos.

I know that a few of you are to young but, they used to have many more Drive-In theaters. There where many that showed XXX rated films. Imagine an outdoor theater with explicit sexual content.

I am not to sure if it was everywhere, but as a kid, it damned sure was where I lived.

I do not really miss the X-rated movies, but I wish the drive-in would come back in style.

We could all hide in the trunk of your car and get in for free!

I'm lucky, I've still got a drive-in about a half hour from my house.

Once I get my VW Bus, it'll be a fun night <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif">

Another thing that would be greatly reduced: Piracy

Another thing that would be greatly reduced: Piracy

Only if you acknowledge its existence. It would be comparable to saying that if there were no bible, there would be no God. God would exist no matter.

At least to me since I do not acknowledge the entity in either example.

I have been a part of lower and middle management in many companies so I can tell you how they think. I do not understand how they think, but I do now its this way.

A company has meetings each year to discuss the fiscal projections for the years sales. Every company I have ever worked at does this so I assume they ALL do it.

The example in this case would be, The Snarkpit Corporations projects sales in excess of 5 million dollars this year. In actuality, after all the bills are paid they make 4 million, free and clear. Their mentality? They lost 1 million dollars somehow. They do not see that they made 4 million, they can only see the shortness of the projected 1 million.

You cannot miss something you never had so how can you have lost 1 million dollars?

I really do not want to rehash the ins and outs of piracy because most of us are pretty well set in our belief system and discussing it further would be pointless.

But remember, those that made the piracy laws think exactly the same way as that corporate meeting I described.

i probably would be an average "i don't know s**t" computer user
i wouldn't download music
i would probably have to look forward to a straight math major or engineering instead of a computer field which would suck
oh and i would probably be in better shape

My pissed off list would grow, since I'm impatient and things would take much longer.

But, I imagine computer technology would not be to the level it is now, simply because of the amount of communication that we've had because of the internet, not even the world wide web, but just the ability to directly talk to another computer. There'd probably be poorer relations and stronger sterotypes about each other's countries.

Blame it on Microsoft, God does.

It's so weird that we have a teacher and his student both here on the pit.

So I'm typing this into a newspaper? No wonder the editorials suck so much...
