This was posted at Planet Half-Life and I was wondering if anyone has
used Nem's Object Viewer. Basically its a Steam independent
level, model, texture viewer (you just have to indicate the corrent
.gcf files to target). Apparently you can target .bsp files too
and view them without having to load up Steam or HL2/CS:S or
whatever. If you've got a slow-ass computer like mine, it should
speed things up since you don't have to open up HL2 everytime to view
your map. However, I don't think it supports lighting at this
point. Anyway -- have any of you tried it yet? Is it worth
downloading?
Here's the link to learn more about it:

I've liked everything that's come from nemesis, I've been using his batch compiler for years now.
