Apparently it got hacked, that's all I know.



Also change the texture of the dock. Docks are rarely tile. -Facepunch

Come now, that's not very nice.

Personally, I was just starting to spend some time over there browsing and posting... they have a very active community. I hope they sort their site problems out soon.

I've only been there once I think. But I hope they get unhacked soon just because hackers are poopy.




I tried sniffing coke, but the ice cubes kept getting stuck in my nose.

To say the least...

I mean, whats the purpose of hacking a site which has no interest in either money nor profit?
Its purpose is to gather level designers from all over the world and teach them the tools of the trade for free.

I can understand if they hack the brittish (or whatever) goverments site or something like that.
But to hack an ideal site is absolutely not understandable from my point of view.

It's because they think they're gonna be 1337 h4X0rz and be funny. they get a momentary chuckle out of it, but they don't care what other people have to go through. Too many people are inconsiderate like that.

From what I know from my time on that site I'm going to guess that some one pissed off a 14 year old with some knowlage of hacking and he took it out on the whole site, which again I assume, has a weak code or defence or something.

Yeah, I tried to check it yesterday and it worked for like 5 minutes then when i refreshed the pages it broke on me.

Blink is changing servers and ran into some trouble. So for once it wasn't hacked. Interlopers is really a great site. When it first opened before HL2 was released there were about 20 of us. Now there is around 2000 I think. Blink has really worked hard on that site and has done some outstanding admining on the forums. There has only been 4 bans in 2 years, and that was because those people were complete jackasses and refused to obey any of the forum rules.

4 bans? S'draconian :P We've had like er 5 in god knows how many years...

I think, anyway!

Hopefully it's back soon though, it'd be a loss to all the mappers and the scene if we were to lose a site to hacking - luckily that's not the case, so just waiting now, I guess.
