Visiting that link will allow you to run (on the fly) a Phosphor, a death-match game for a stand alone engine.
It uses Direct 7, I think is the highest setting, the graphics are almost on par with HL1 (that is, upon the release of HL1, of course). It runs a server through the browser interface. You can play the game windows or full screen. You can host Internet games or lan games too. Or play with bots.
Now, this is purely a novelty, It's not really that good ... beats the pants of Urban Dead though.
As far as I can tell, the thing pretty much doesn't work in firefox. It works in mozilla, however, (netscape too), and (obviously
) IE.

Oh yes, you can also define all your settings, there's mouse control and all that jazz.
