Guys
Firstly sorry for the direct approach, however you may or may not know about a new web site we have created called www.hl2skirmish.co.uk
This has started as a 2v2 tourney which was based on random teams picked from clan player and non clan players new to the competitive gaming scene. The idea is to get more people into competitive clan type gaming in order to kick start the community. We have plans to arrange further tourneys as well as ladders for clans.
The reason for this mail is to request a link to Skirmish on your web site. We already have your on our site and was hoping you could help us to promote the game by placing our on your site.

Hey, good lutck with your tournaments, sounds like fun. Our links section is kinda screwy at the minute, and nobody other than the site owner (who isn't around much these days) can seem to add anything to it. Well, at least I can't, though maybe Gwil (the other site admin) can. We'd be happy to put up a news post though, so go into your Snarkpit control panel and submit one for the front page and we'll authorise it.

Oh, your links came out wrong for some reason - dunno if its due to a forum problem or something else. Just something you might want to fix up. Best of luck with the tournaments and getting the HL2DM scene a bit more active!

Hey there flush - thanks for coming over and posting, but i'm afraid I can't help you much here.

As ReNo says, the site owner is away, and so we can't add links (our php admin function for it seems to be borked), and definately we can't do a link exchange. As you can see from our front page layout, we don't go into link exchange banners - dunno why! That's how it's always been.

I'll see if I can't get hold of the site owner and add you to our normal links page - and would be happy to add you as an official piece of news, but that's the extent of what I can do.

Hopefully you won't remove us from your site as reciprocation!? <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_wink.gif"> Either way, good luck with the mod - the HL2DM community needs a kickstart after Valve fluffed it all up with the late releases.

I do. I wish I could take the credit but.. Alas it was decided with much more than MY say. (although I was a strong supporter in not cluttering things with banners.

There is however a links page at the bottom of every page that leads here.

We do support linking, just not by messing up the front page design with them.

Hmmm. Seems likes Leps "Solidarity" regime is biting us in the butt. His union of "1" isn't working anymore.

Unseth thought that way. Prefabland died a slow lingering death. I liked PFL as much as SP. By the time Unseth began granting others "me" access to the site, he had lost interest to the point where he never finished the process. I couldn't save the site. The final bit of authorization needed to access the database was never implemented.

Prolly the old fears kicked in at the last and, he opted to let the site die instead of relinquishing the reins to another. <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/sad.gif">

Flushthetoilet were you trying to explain the code to be used with your image? Seriously, this website is uber code intensive, I think lep would know how to post an image, as would my 10 year old sister!

Btw Orph, if I remember I'll go on leps PC and make myself a top level admin to sort stuff out for a bit.
