I didn't notice anything the first time, and was just going along with Hugh's joke.

But after you posted that back I went back and looked at this thread with IE again.. and I found the animated steam icon easter egg you were talking about. However it's miniscule on my computer.

This tired question is almost as annoying as the entire "Recently" series of threads.

What does it matter?

I know FF is better, you know FF is better, so be it people will still use IE over it. Nothing you can do (Even though FF is far superior in many ways ... it just doesn't have the normal Windows look ... which I really think is the reason why people don't use it ... it's not like it runs slower in general or something)

Anyway, it's been done to death ... resurrected and murdered a billion times over. Enough is enough. I think this type of thread, along with needlessly titled "Recently" or "What's your Rig" threads need to be banished. Maybe allow them once a year, other than that ... just don't do it. It's annoying and nothing f**king changes from the last goddamn time the question was asked!

Not to rub anyone the wrong way or anything like that, but any sort of "Easter Egg" is not enticing or exuberant enough to run the lifespan of a thread ... at least not for me.

Also, in Hindsight, I should have checked Netscape, since, I'm not running FF, but Mozilla 1.7 and Netscape is the exact same thing ... but called Netscape.


Blame it on Microsoft, God does.

I use opera for a long time, and I prefer it over anything else.(including Firefox) But lets not start a civil war shell we? <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_wink.gif">
