Just found this this morning. (Trying to keep it interesting around here).

http://www.damninteresting.com/?p=14#more-14

The Ariel company in England has only 7 employees. They have been making cars since 1898 and the reviewer in the video practically has an orgasm test driving this thing. It has more horsepower per kilogram than a Porsche 911, of a ferrari, and comes in at around 40,000$ US(or 30,000 pounds or some such).

In the video, they pit the car against a Honda 600 racing bike. See the results for yourself.

I remember watching this, aceness defined. Looks space age and flies like s**t off a shovel. Love it when Jeremy Clarksons face gets the jowels rippling on it too <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">

Top Gear is an ace show too incidentally!

I'd never actually seen a real one until that video clip, but they did release the car in a downloadable booster pack for Project Gotham Racing 2 on the Xbox. It was a crazy little car - light as a feather, grippy as hell, and shot off the start line pretty sharpish! Wasn't too hot in top speed though. Fun car to drive nonetheless, and obviously far far more so done in person!

Gotta love Top Gear too, entertaining whether you like cars or not <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">

Top Gear is always worth watching regardless of the cars. Especially for the Stig, whom "if he could be bothered, could crack the Da Vinci Code in 43 seconds" (yes, that's a direct quote).

I actually saw one of these things drive past (for real - not just on a screen!), and it looked pretty smart. Awesome car.
