The building with the small metalic dome, just right of the citadel looked somewhat familiar. At first, I didn't give it much thought, but then it occured to me that I had seen it before:

Interesting coincidence.

I voted I'm in doubt, because while I would like to keep up with the HL series, I'm not as pumped about this episodes arrival as I was about HL2.
I still have to get around to playing Lost Coast sometime.

I hate to sound like an ignorant american here - but want that building designed by an american archetect? - as well as the other few buildings left standing?

AFAIK it was built by a Czech architect called Jan Letzel (i think).

I think the dome looks like the Overwatch building.
Which, incidentally, was probably designed by a Czech architect " SRC="images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif">

Im excited, but only for the story and possibility of learning more about the combine and g-man. From what it looks like in the three teasers, it looks like they are really going to over do Alyx. I mean "Alyx: cool under pressure" I mean it's so obvious they are trying to make her cool, if thats the right word for it. I would also think its that it seems like they are trying to make her seem more attractivem and they are rubbing it in to a point that it's painfull.
I just really hope they dont just stick her in there as something sexy to look at while fighting, that would just ruin it.
