My two personal favourites...and pretty much the only two women that are modern day pop that I would even remotely listen to. Michelle Branch and Vanessa Carlton. I'm very much for the darker haired natural looking lady. I'm not into the blond airhead, I need some brains in my women. |

I saw her open for Daniel Ash (of Bauhaus, Love & Rockets) a couple years ago and she was great. Great angry girl rock music, and lots of energy bouncing around the stage. And I do mean bouncing 
. I had an instant crush on her. She was really sweet, even signed my album.
