But any way Who do U think is the best james bond. I reackon that Daneil Craig, Peirce Brosman and Roger Moore where the best. Although I am epecting that you will all love Sean Conery. Cast Votes NOW!!!!

95% on Rotten Tomatoes:

Which, if you know that site, is freaking amazing.

I really enjoyed it. Craig was great, Eva Green was amazing, and it was all-around probably the best Bond flick ever. The only thing... it felt a little long to me. But it was such a nice ride I didn't mind much.

CRAP. I was going to go see Eragon today but.. maybe not... <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/sad.gif">

Of course, I'm a purist.I feel like Sean Connery embodied the true spirit of Bond as the Broccoli family envisioned it. Roger Moores Bond was fettered down with a certain 70's cheeziness that I never quite liked(Like the big metal mouth guy Jaws). Same is true for Pierce Brosnan, while he was possibly the handsomest Bond, his films were filled with too much "Bond-ish" pageantry and alittle too grandiose with not much in the way of believable action sequences or substance.

Dalton, Lazenby and Niven were just Bond fillers if you will. Although Dalton gave it a run though.

I have'nt seen the newest installment yet so I'll have to reserve my judgement on Craig.

Hmm, this rottentomatoes website seems pretty cool. I've normally just used IMDB as my source for movies, but it looks like I have something else to rely on. Thanks for posting the link!

The venice part was a bit stretched, but one of the better Bond movies overall. Love the new style.

I thought the Dalton movies were great movies, they just weren't great Bond movies. He was a little too nice, Bond needs to be a little more scary. Underneath all the charm, he is an assassin and a killer.

I'll have to agree with Juim. Sean Connery really did embody the true spirit of James Bond, and I don't think theres anyother actor out there who can reproduce what Sean Connery brought to the big screen.

But in general all the actors that have played bond brought their own cards to the table, and comparing one bond to the other is like comparing apples to oranges.

On the main topic of the new bond movie: Craig brought back (as well as the director - who also directed Golden Eye) the feeling of realism back to the bond series. With Die Another Day (the last movie) it all seemed sureal to me, some of the stunts were'nt really stunts, but just pierce on a blue screen. With Casino Royal it brought back thoes deftifying stunts that I had come to know bond to do.

So the director who directed Goldeneye also did Casino Royal. Cool. But you know what I havent seen mentioned. There was no Q in Casino Royal. I know that Casino Royal is Where bond becomes a 00 but it didn;t seem right. But I still loved it.

Although It had a pretty werid start it was nice

No Q, no money penny. Casino Royal was basically how James Bond became.... well..... james bond. It was ian flemming's first book if I recall as well. And the movie does well to show us why James Bond is so "cold" to the women he meets on his adventures (he lets em in close, but not too close).

My grandpa told me he didn't like it 'cause there was too much action and too few babes.

Most awkward/awesome conversation I've ever had with my grandpa...

When I saw the trailer for Eragon in theaters for the first time ... I couldn't stop myself from laughing when I saw John Malkovich as the "bad guy" or whoever he is in the movie.

What a terrible actor. I think, actually, he's worse than Nicholas Cage. If you don't think so: watch "Mary Reilly".

Oddly enough, the only movie I can stand him in (or even ... like him in) much like Nicholas Cage, is a Charlie Kaufman penned and Spike Jonze directed film. (Being John Malkovich and Adaptation, respectively)

GODDAMMIT I HATE THAT GUY AND HIS SH*TTY ACTING.

To note, the new Bond is more like the book than any of the other film incarnations.

I think an interviewer put it best when he said that there's two types of Bond: Dean Martin Bond and Frank Sinatra Bond. It sums up every film Bond incarnation to date.

I feel bad for Brosnan. He wanted to make better Bond films and I think, overall, he was probably the best fit for the "Stop the world take over and get the girl" type of Bond and they never gave him a decent enough vehicle after Goldeneye.
However, I do like this newest incarnation the most. It's just the most believable and to be honest, the over the top Bond really became boring. It's like ... it was cool and new and exciting then it became mundane and routine. Their little variations didn't do anything for the series and instead of writing something decent, they scrap everything and reboot the entire series.

Blame it on Microsoft, God does.

I hate eragon and movies and books like that. Mediveil, Sowrds, Elvil Dark lords, And magic castles and some stupid magic stone or some shivers. I hate those types of movies and books and most of those games (exept for Diablo).

Eragon looks pretty weak. I don't hate movies of that genre, but it just seems really cliche.

Saw the new bond...loved it. I'm also getting all 4 of the Ultimate Collections for the previous Bond movies for Christmas (some I'm buying and some the girlfriend). Casino Royale has the same director as my other favourite Goldeneye, too. I thoroughly enjoyed the step back from CG and the standard over the top stuff. And it was the most listenable dialogue I've seen in a movie in a long time. Pretty well everything about it was worth it and that's coming from someone who's pretty cynical about most movies these days.

Sadly, I thought the whole James bond theme went south after Roger Moore.. Actually, Sean replayed his role after Roger, but one cannot fault him much.

IMO, there were only two Bonds. Each named James.
