Blister: mostly electro-industrial & EBM. a little goth, powernoise, etc. as well.

I have some setlists etc. up on my MySpace site:
http://www.myspace.com/cryotank

I'm not some uber-dj doing mixing and whatnot, but I know the music, which is more than I can say for the current resident DJs here in Cleveland :/

Nice. We spin both mainstream Electro/house or Trance, depending if it's for a student party or not. Our motto is to keep everybody dancing all night We try to mix decently, but track selection is the most important thing indeed.

Belated Christmas greetings all.

Most notably scored:

- complete series of Angel on DVD
- complete series of Hornblower on DVD
- season 1 of The Chasers War on Everything

Plus the other usual stuff. I figure with the DVD's mentioned above I should have no worries getting through what's shaping up to be the worst summer non-ratings period on TV ever.

After buying my new car,(which looks very, very similar to this one.) I was pretty much strapped for Christmas cash. Was truly sad about my truck.

Apart for the usual "Socks, undergarments and pants" this was the most unusual gift I got this year. Its pretty snazzy and replaces that stupid USB cable I keep losing. It fits directly into my camera case.

I see this year as a either unsteady or pleasing year. I'm trying to get into tv/film post production, so i'm trying to get a job as a runner. I'm starting to hand out letter's to companies so all I can do is wait for an interview.

I got night vision goggles and bought my father an iPod nano. Christmas is getting more and more high-tech <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">

Why did you want night vision goggles?

I got a filesystem crash/corruption so this year just turned a little worse for me. Oh well, if decompiling Source maps gives as reliable results as I've heard, then I'll only loose a few days of work. <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">

@Natus: to play CSS in dark maps of course! :P

Source maps contain the original brush data in the BSP, so the decompiled VMFs are actually usable.

And how about displacements? I heard those might mess up now and then?

I didn't want night vision goggles but my mother found these at a local coffee-shop/supermarket and bought them because she knows I like gadgets like this. That's nothing military/high tech really, it's for watching animals or something I suppose.

I guess giving money every christmas/brithday is getting boring with time <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif"> I was as surprised as anyone.

But it's pretty fun.

I thought they were in common use by hunters?

Anyone can own a fully automatic AK47 too... With a license.

But to my knowledge, which is admittedly spotty, no civilian can own night vision goggles. There is no legal purpose for owning a pair. Its against the law to hunt most animals in the dark anyway, and the ones you can hunt in the dark? It would take all the fun out of hunting them.

But seriously, last time I checked, (in the 80's and I was in the military and wanted a set badly) no one could have them.

Same here too, plus you get a discount for supporting the local economy. <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif">
TBH i'm actually thinking of getting a nonfunctional one myself, it would make an awesome ornament.

As for nvgoggles, I think I saw a pair for sale at a local gunstore.
