A couple of weeks ago I stumbled upon a browser RPG called Kingdom of Loathing (http://www.kingdomofloathing.com) and surprisingly, it turned out to be amazing.
At points you can't help laughing out loud, for real.
Give it a go, really.

Are there some sort of limit to how much you can do each day like a number of actions or something?

Yeah, there's a limit. A number of "adventures". You can eat food and drink booze to gain some extra every day.

I just had an Indiana-Jones-esque experience which is quite unusual for a browser game. Funny stuff!

Hmm, when I clicked "Create character" my connection timed out. When I try to register again it says that my email is already registered, but no email has arrived. =/

I tried the lost password function as well with no luck.
