So when I first found this place nine weeks ago I thought it was a Half-Life website with the Half-Life 2 bit added on. But I notice that people submit maps for Quake and s**t plus I've seen these mysterious references like "Radiant editor" so naturally I'm starting to wonder if any of you guys are actually H-L 2 gamers or some mysterious mutants that come out at night. Btw, sorry for my weird posts I blame it on this new found excuse called "Asperger Syndrome". When I mention those words on the internet people immediately seem to give me extra leeway and be all sympathetic ![<img src=]()

Erm, actually...no. It's a mapping site. Half life just happens to be the most popular game to map for so that's why you get to see more resources for it than for any other game.
Oh and are you by chance biased towards the classics, like quake?

oh and by they way, you don't have to be a mapper to find a home here, i was a member for over a year before i even started mapping, you just have to earn your respect in other ways

Anyway, the Snarkpit is a mapping website. It was most popular among HL1 mappers when it started, but of course it's mainly about HL2 and its mods today (with an unusual focus on HL2DM). You can find maps for a few other games, but those never got as popular here.

Respect. I have heard that word alot lately. I thought snarkpit is a place where mappers, noob and expert can come together and talk about half-life and there maps and share maps and other half-life files.
