Had to huh? Dammit. I'd have a long f**king talk with that damned school of yours for not conforming to your drinking schedule.

Chain mapping. Everyone picks a room type they want to make, but aren't allowed to say what it is apart from on a master list that the admins have. Each person builds thier map, then its up to the previous person to the current to morph thier section into the current/next. Basically you end out with loads of random contrasting ideas all melding and blending around between one another, similar to the grid idea DrGlass had, but with less obvious gateway transitions.

An interesting point on Mryk's idea is that we can avoid the boring grid idea that most similar projects have. Since we're developing the junctions later ourselves, there are no limits on dimensions...within reason.

Although I like Myrks idea as a community project, it isn't suited to "competitive" mapping. For now, I will avoid the declaration of a new competition - it will be "doors" BTW - as i'm not in the right sober state to post it right now <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">

2nd Feb is the day to look forward to! It shoulda been earlier (ie today) but I am constrained by a full day timetable for Thursday.
