I will be gone on my next run till Wednesday night or Thursday morning guys. Try to work out the yet to be decided details between now and then.

Post your suggestions for:


  • How many maps and of what type.
  • What day of the week.
  • How many hours played.
  • Starting time.
  • Password.
  • Frag limit/Time limit.

Also, keep track of this thread for note comparisons on the choices of the other team.

Im just going to name some random maps from TWHL that would probably be good for this, I don't know alot of the good ones in your vault.

either dm_crete or dm_Crete3 by Rimrook and maybe Sancefar as well
Composition by Kasperg (you can pretty much add any of kaspergs stuff since its generally of very high quality, eg Oceanic and Suspended.
Warpcore by Kasperg since its been such a favorite amoung DM'rs
lab17:quake by darkphoenix_68
souptemplev2 by Jahzel
maybe Apex_V2 by orph
Necropolis: Mausoleum by darkphoenix_68
Sinister by DocRock
ANNOPUS by Jackar

those are just some good ones that I remember. feel free to yay/nay them based on there own merits

The server will be passworded and the password will be given to both TWHL and SP.

When you join, please use the [Snarkpit] - your_Snarkpit_username playername combination, so that we can identfy eachother.

To change your name via the console use this command:

name "[SnarkPit] - your_Snarkpit_username". Quotation marks required!

The server will stay online 24/7.

Since noone else proposed any maps, except M_garg...

Here's the current mapcycle i've just compiled:

Crossfire
Sancefar
Apex_v2
composition
n_mausoleum
sinister
warpcore
annopus

I've downloaded all these maps and placed them in a zip, so you don't have to download and install them one at a time. When new maps are added to list, i will add them to the zipfile as well and increase the zip version number by 1.

Get these maps here: TWHL vs Snarkpit - Team Deathmatch maps.

Well that was a shame - was just me and Gwil representing the Snarkpit, against 4 TWHL guys <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/sad.gif"> Was a good laugh anyway - we just played Deathmatch on Crossfire for a while - but obviously rather disappointing we didn't get any real turn out.
