The game looks familiar but i'm buggered if I remember it.

The music sounds like ambient Jazz

1. No idea
2. First impression was "No idea" but after listening to it a few times, I think it's the menu music from a kooky point-and-click puzzle/adventure game with claymation graphics called "The Neverhood" (the filename seems to support this theory)
In any case it's got me digging through stacks of CDs to find The Neverhood cause it was such an awesome game.

Wasn't that game called "Digger"?

it's not Digger, it's simmilar but it's not. this game looks more like one of those simple nes games where the main screen says "1 player - 2 players" and then you start playing.
i just listen-ed to 2 "ambient jazz" songs but they're different.
and the music is from The Sims.
