Anyone tried out the new C&C III game yet?

I did. And it rocks! I was told that the game's loading times are really fast, and when i played it, loading took about 10 seconds! Nice.

Btw, here's a neat trick:

In Skirmish, the demo only allows you to play as GDI, with AI Personality set to Balanced, right?

Wrong.

With a little trickery, you can play as Nod with any AI Personality. Here's how:

Select Nod as your army by left clicking once. Now, hit the N key on your keyboard to confirm your selection. Do the same with the AI Personality: click once on the desired AI Personality, then hit the first letter of that personality on your keyboard:

R - Rusher
T - Turtle
G - Guerilla
S - Steamroller

Don't try to play as the Scrin since the demo does not contain its units and it may crash the game. Nod works fine though.

I'd get it if the download wasn't so damn huge. The FMV in it seems pretty cool though, and I recognise a lot of those actors/actresses.

Not sure why, but I can't take Josh Holloway seriously in that trailer. I see him and instantly think of Sawyer, the funny redneck, from Lost. D:

Anyway, the huge download is a problem for me, too. Not because of bandwidth but because of my HD. Which is kinda embarrassing in the times of 500 GB monsters.

There's word of this other strategy game out that is rumoured to go against C and C 3 but I hope C and C 3 will beat it. I can't remember it's name but it doesn't matter because hopefully C and C will defeat it and no one shall need to remember.

This game looks sweet! Long since I was actually looking forward to a game. And this is the first time ever I've seen PC/video game advertisements on bus stops and in real life in general outside of magazines/television. Huge green posters now decorate most of the bus stops where I live .

Seems like they cast all TV stars they could get their hands on. Wasn't that the Asian lady from Battlestar Galactica? D/L-ing the demo right now.

I just paid for the game pre-order. Got my little bundle of goodies. I'm getting the "Kane" a.k.a. Collector's Edition. I love CEs.

I have the old version, so i can still play with nod, but unfortunately, there is no sound while building stuff such as "Building" or "Construction Complete" ... But that doesn't matter :P

Its a great game that is a MUST BUY ...
