I worked as an Athletic Trainer for a year and a half. During the course of that time, I saw a wide variety of sports injuries. I'm not just talking about breaks and sprains, I've seen friction burns the size of dinner plates, chunks of flesh missing, popped cysts (that was a good one), and even bone. Bone was definitely my favorite.
Now I can watch open heart surgery without flinching. Then go out to eat afterwards.
Still...I'm having a hard time figuring out what that first pic is.

The pictures dont really disturb me, its just when I see it happen. Like on tv or something. The first picture is just some random human organ.
And Orph there are real pictures and there are,... holy crap if you think about it there is no such thing as a fake picture. Let me refrasie, the person in the picture is not fake, the worm is not fake ...

I used to visit rotten.com regularly until they stopped updating the site so nothing really bothers me pictorially.

yes... just that.
"yeah, I live a pretty pain-free lifestyle." -French Toast
but i can remember i screamed like crazy.
maybe that's why i hate hospitals and every place where doctors/nurses work.

No injury, had a Corneal transplant on my left eye due to having Keratoconus (although I also have it on my right eye but not as bad as the left).

lmao Brasso. I've never been able to walk for three days, never mind carrying injuries like that. ![]()
A fractured radial head (elbow) is the worst that I've had.
The nipple torture from the beautiful afro-caribbean doctor was the funniest pain if ever had, even though it definately wasn't the funnest. I was howling with laughter at the madness of lying there, allowing this really, really hot woman to wiggle a big(4cm) needle around inside my nipple. The more pain, the more I laughed. She'd never heard of Richard Harris, or A Man Called Horse, so she didn't see the funny side of it. Looked at me as if I was sort of odd. ![]()

Eww Fishy, thats disgusting, the nipple torture. I feel sorry for you man.
I'm on that rotten.com site orph and its bad man. Dog s**t : An in-depth look at what comes out of your pet. Eww I wanna know more " SRC="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">. I would say we shall give the people who have not seen this topic yet a bit more time to submit there pains or pictures of there pain (yuk) than we shall have a vote on the most painful pain and he/she will recive a prize which I have not thought up of yet. Also note you can submit multiple pains.

One is an ongoing thing that will never go away in my lifetime. I strained my sciatic nerve somehow a few years ago. If you're not familiar with this nerve, it's the longest running nerve in the human body, it runs from the spine all the way down to the foot and it spans out a bit too. When it first happened, I was pretty much down for a week, of course at the time I didn't know what it was. It sort of ... went away and I went on about my business. Last summer, (on July 4th of all things) it started hurting again, worse than when it initially happened.
It isn't the most painful thing, it's just a constant thing which is worse when you move and the only way to make it stop ... is to move. It's a nerve and needs to be stretched and some crap. It's really bad sometimes, because I have classes and I'll be sitting for 2 to 4 hours or something and it just starts going at it. The longer I let it go the more of the nerve begins to hurt, starting from my back down. It really blows.
The only way to prevent it from happening is to stretch regularly which is a pain in the ass ... though if I don't do it I'll get a pain in the ass anyway.
The other thing was with my right knee. I put pressure on it incorrectly somehow and the part of my leg above my knee decided to go right ... and the part of my leg below my knee decided to go left, the bulk of the knee it self went right. It didn't break the skin or break the bone, but it did come out of the socket and then pop back in ... it was odd. It was a very delayed sort of thing. I mean, I looked down (I was wearing shorts at the time) and I could see the bone of my lower knee socket pushing against the skin and then it cracked and popped and went back and then it hurt ... a lot. Maybe not as much as putting a nail through my hand or falling off a building ... but we can't all injure ourselves and live like some people.

Well at least if you shot yourself in the foot, it would take away your, original pain. But then you'd have to shoot yourself in the head to get rif of the foot pain and nobody wants that
. That was not sarcasm. Let us now discuss Gorbachev's pain. It sounds pretty bad man. Never heard of that sickness before. Tell us more about your pain. I have dial up and when youre downloading, things get messy, real messy. So I aint even thinkng about opening wi-ki peidia.
I've also had a look at rotten.com. For anyone with time on there hands and wanna see some weird stuff you should go there. I saw one guy sticking his finger through his nose and out through his right eye. Yukkk.
edit: While I was typeing this message, Crono-miner just replyed. So...
Well look Crono, The second one is just funny. Ha Ha (Nelson Voice). However the first one is bad and painful. What happens when you sleep and you have been inactive for like 8 hours. Do you have to wake up in the middle of the night and, dance?

I almost forgot. I had Salmonella once. I s**t, or tried to s**t for 10 straight days because of that little adventure.
Do you have any idea how painful the dry heaves feels when its your bowels?
I found myself forcing food/drink down my throat just to have some substance to pass.
As Doctor Smith would say....
"The pain, the pain."

But a few days ago I had this surreal pain I woke up from in the middle of the night. I was lying on my right arm, blocking the blood or something and had this numbness in my arm. So I turned around, hoping I could feel my arm again in a few seconds. But then, instead, this intense pain, like a cramp, came up. A mixture between paralysis and a cramp mixed with some bizzarre nightmare I woke up from.
I think that's what phantom pain must feel like. You know, when people feel a pain in a limb that was actually amputated long time ago. Not nice.

Not having the money to find out where you live, find your modem, and smash it, thus preventing you from making weird and stupid topics like this "Whats the worst pain you have ever felt..." What the...? How stupid can it get![]()

Worst pain would be getting shot. Yes, getting shot with a real gun. Here in SA we have lots of hijackings and shootings, and during a hijacking one of the hijackers panicked and shot me in my lung. Luckily we still had our cellphones and I got to the hospital very quickly without dying. Being shot is like being stabbed with a sharp knife which has been heated up in a fire to its glowing white. And in the lungs makes it difficult to breath. Still makes me flinch when I play a FPS and get shot...and hear the splutch.
Also I once split my heel open on a rusty nail, and it actualy sprayed blood. Though the pain went away quite soon. The real pain was when the doctor was removing the bandages which had stuck onto the blood of the wound.
The worst pain iv'e ever seen was during Cricket at school, a guy bowled, the batter hit the ball very hard, and it hit the victim at the bottom of his chin, and caused him to "bite" his tongue, most of his tounge was chopped off.
