What the hell happened to all my hard-earned snarkmarks? I seem to have lost about 700

Did I do something bad?

Probably. I told you not to look into Lep's basement, but nooo... I'm thinking the snabbits also have a part in this.

On the plus side, I magically gained about 200 SnarkMarks overnight.

I think kind of the same thing happend to me too. OK not 700 sn maybe but a few of them seemed to disappear a while ago... dunno why. Maybe I've done something bad a well [addsig]

I dropped a fairly big bit too... Something had to happen to the formula. I'm gonna guess that maps which no one has commented on now do not count towards the map count which is multiplied by the average map score...

Yeah I changed it a bit to take account of map downloads too, I figure if you've got a good map that's been downloaded a lot you should get more...

I lost about 100, but it wasn't that much bother. Having them halved like you have would kinda suck though Adam...i guess you were exploiting the formula [addsig]

Like they said above, who cares, the point is so that other people can tell how much you've contributed to the site (and maybe egg them on into making a few more comments or whatever!) and how 'trustworthy'/whatever you are.

Well, then you should fix it so that linking to a php referrer download link still registers for a download here as well. hehe

Not that I particularly freak out over snark marks, but it would only seem fair that those of us who are linking to our own download counters as well be allowed the same bonus as those who are not [addsig]
