French Toast, good to see that after vehemently demanding explanations and receiving a bounty of them all you can reply with is a slightly more complex version of 'no u'. Actually it wasn't an attempt at insult towards you, it was an acknowledgement of your acknowledgement of how stupid this thread got.

But y'know, whatever floats your boat. Continue to bash other peoples reading comprehension too, 'cause yours sure is soaring above us all.

I was trying to... y'know, back out of this petty argument before it got really stupid, but your continuous insults would seem to show you're not really done. However I definitely am, and with any luck, with these forums too. It's really pathetic that a ranking member of the forums behaves the way you do. It certainly doesn't help the sites image of a bunch of elitist snobs. if you're wondering why the site is deteriorating, look into a mirror.

If I'm really a ranking member of the forums it's through attrition more than any real discernable quality. But hey, if I got you to stop posting than maybe I do deserve some accolades.

It is funny however that you're the one who demanded the argument continue after I gave you a really easy out, so trying to back out of the argument after it turned against you wasn't gonna fly.

My point isn't that it is funny, it is that the whole thread has deteriorated into nothing but constant arguing and lame insults interspersed with nonsense that has all been shoved together with what is essentially a bad joke in the first place [the joke being that black text on a black background is pretty ridiculous]. Such a formula is the one used in almost all Comedy Central television shows. Heck, if someone makes a sexually explicit remark, we could probably market this thread to Comedy Central for big money.

I didn't close it because there was actually some points to be resolved, and unlike other threads I have closed in the past (eg Recently Annoyed By (?) ) it wasn't an out and out s**t flinging thread.

Nevertheless, as Yak rightly points out the thread ran its course then the flotsam/jetsam saw fit to continue bumping it. Closed.
