I'v heard this a few times. WTH does it mean??

I was actually referring to Halo 1 pc. Halo is far better on the pc. for obvious reasons.

The first pc game i ever played was HL1.

Perfect Dark was better than golden eye. (at least i think so)

my first PC game was CS 1.0, from there it was half life as well as the Blizzard Trifecto, because of this and the fact that I grew up with the snes and have played many a nes game means that I will never relinquish the fps to consoles unless they start coming with keyboards and mice, and if people buy them then instead of building pc's i'll cut em :P

1337:
1 = l (...just l man)
3 = E (backwards)
7 = 7 (upside down)
leet - or your modern day 'cool' adjective. leet could also imply that you have incredible skill at playing a game ala: 'u g0tz 1337 ski11z u t3h pwn3r 0f t3h 1010rz wrld.'

its all rubish in my opinion (sorry to steal British thunder).

STAR CRAFT - I don't think anyone can argue with start craft....

Yea, there are quite a few N64 gems I missed. Basically, everything that Rare produced is awesome. What a shame they got bought by Microsoft. If Rare was still with Nintendo, the Wii (and game cube) would be twice as good.

PS, FatStrings, is that a Gyrotwister?

Blame it on Microsoft, God does.

I've had this same picture for years. I don't why I like it so much.
It came from Dark Reign, as if anyone cares.

Don't know about avg, I don't have any virus protection and I haven't had a virus since 2002. Just don't download any cracks or key generators, they usually contain viruses and all sorts of things. We all care btw image

Starcraft is great but I suck at it. Btw, I've gotten into Rise of Nations.

if u don't have any protection how do u know your not infected?
I pick up bad stuff browsing reputable sites. You don't have to be sifting through porn to pick up something malicious. I sagest u install something. (avg or avast maybe)

ASUS A8V Rev2
AMD Opteron 148 single core @ 2.52GHz (240x10.5)
2GB DDR400
~650GB total HDD space
7800GS AGP
LG Flatron 20" 1680x1050 + Hyundai 17" 1280x1024 (Samsung screen)

I don't run an active antivirus either. I scan once every few months with ClamWin free antivirus and hijackthis though. I don't like how much CPU time active scanners take, my hi-res photoshop performance is choppy enough as it is.

The word 'crib' used in this context is appalling. IJTUIMMALB appalling.

I suppose if I notice something weird or see weird processes or something or if the computer/internet is slower than normal thats a good indicator, problems don't just come from nowhere.

Anyways, I'll install AVG 7.5 out of interest and let you know the results.

Nice crib by the way Baron con Snickers :P

I don't wanna spread panic, but the last time I "noticed" a virus, my "My Documents" folder was gone for ever and the computer didn't boot up anymore. I learned the hard way and I'm using a virus scanner ever since.

And Baron, your "crib" looks like teh future! I should get a flat screen (just one for the moment) myself. If the colours just weren't so off for the affordable models. <img src=" SRC="images/smiles/sad.gif">
