Wow, if im the first one to ever do this in Snarkpit history thats odd. Oh well I want to know what you listen too! Post a link with a song or two of your most favorite band EVUH!

Music is our personality saying that it sucks or it's "The Devil's Music!!!" isn't very nice to tell someone, if it's really that bad just say, "Wow, a very interesting taste in music there (insert name here), try listening to MINE!"

ANYWHO this is my favorite band, The Blood Brothers I went to see them in concerte and they were AWESOME! there were moshpits everywhere (I was 13 or 14 at the time) i was with my sister and we had a great time.

Heres some links!

WARNING!: turn your speakers down b4 listening if they are on high, don't laugh or hate it to much listen to a full song before posting feedback

I couldn't say I have a favourite genre really. This kind of thread is what Last.FM was made for!

I'd link some YouTube videos but again it would be a skewing of my taste - I listen to anything and everything, if it's good I stick with it. I can see how people would enjoy The Blood Brothers, I personally don't :P

I kind of agree with Gwil here. I have a varying sense of what sounds good to me. I am a fan of music which challenges me, and musicianship almost always grabs my attention. I will say that some of the more repetetive styles annoy me. Country, Reggae, anything which is all based on the same basic template. And don't get me started on rap.

Spocks Beard
Gentle Giant
Holst
Echolyn
Glass Hammer
The Flower Kings
Kings X
The Beatles
Brian Eno
Adrienne Belew
These are some of my favorites.

Nice, i came across i great remix of "An ending" once.

As for my tastes you probably should download an episode of the gareth emery podcast. Or listen to Tiesto's radioshow "Clublife".
Apart from that i listen to mainstream groove, and that's what i normally spin when i DJ.

Here are my own 2 DJ websites:

I don't really have a personal preference to music, as long as it sounds good, has a nice beat or whatever, I'd listen to it.

Same here. But there are a few things that stand out for me, like this:

I told you not to read that.

How about looking here!

I need to reinstall Last.fm. My favourite song is Ankle Injuries by Fujiya & Miyagi. I can listen to it all day (and mostly do).
