I can find skins, I can find prefabs, I can find textures, but I can not find models. Please tell me there is a place on-line with more models than what we have in Hammer now. If so where is it?

Run it through Google, the usual suspects will appear - HL2 Models found me some stuff on Gamespy affiliates and FPSBanana. Failing that, look out for models in custom maps and if you can find the author check the permissions on the custom models and use them yourself.
Failing that, take up modelling :P Although that might be something of an extreme route. Rest assured though that there are plenty of custom props out there for use.

I was thinking of modeling, but I am not as sexy as I used to be. Ha Ha. No really I was thinking of making some models.. but I am not sure where to start. I have some really cool ones someone on here made me, I forget who it was.. a nice shower curtain, and a Muhnay projector thing. I would need some advice on what programs to get so I can get started modeling some stuff. Then there is the whole skinning thing.. is that another program or what? Then I would have to figure out how they get into Hammer to be used in maps.. but first I would have to make sure I get the scale right.. knowing me I'll make a bathtub the size of the dust map and be like uhm how'd that happen. =)
But I did find a couple models by looking for 3D Halflife Models.

Easy, just go onto FPSBanana, look around at the maps and if you see any images that have nice models, decompile the map and use the model :P.
No seriously, learn modeling. Download the XSI Mod Tool and get a sweet video tutorial and your all set. At first, I was really daunted by modeling and the XSI interface, but I was able to find a 2 hour tutorial that shows you how to make a model from scratch, texture the model and compile it for the Source engine, and now I'm fine, I am workin on my first model as a side project, the geometry is pretty much finished, I just have to make a texture for it and paint it onto the model.
