If you select the new 'Journal' option from the control panel tab it brings you to a blank page of the control panel. But you can still select the actual 'journal' tab to get to the journal page.

Another error. So I sent a new user here to try and register on this new version of the SnarkPit, and he said that after filling in the info for the registration page, and entered the security code, it claimed it did not match after he submitted it. So I tried for myself and discovered the same thing. I attempted it about 15 times. The security code refuses to match for whatever reason. If anyone else wants to try it and let us know if it worked for you too, then that might help.
-Just a heads up, since I don;t think anyone can even register on the old Pit whatsoever. We haven't had a new member in 7 weeks! It just brings them to a white blank page. Might want to temporarily fix that until we can move here.

I hope to get the wheels rolling on permanent move next weekend, my 3 week easter break begins then.

Sounds like a plan! -Should we make a front page post about it now on the active version of the site?

I've just tried it and registered half a dozen accounts (deleted all but this one). Only time I got a security code mismatch was when I confused a 0 with a D

Well, I tried it again and this time took some screen shots.
Unless my eyes deceive me, all 3 of these attempts should have been correct, but clicking submit only refreshed the page and told me the security code did not match

Is it just me?
Can anyone else try?

added a message output when you submit the form that tells you what the correct code was and what the script registered you entered - try submitting a few values and see if they match (dont worry about the name/password/email fields)

Ok, It worked for me here. You can delete the account: Riven2
-Unless it'll end up getting deleted anyway when we make the switch.
-Oh, and just as a verification, the guy I was speaking with was able to register on snarkpit.net now. So everything seems to be in order!
-I love when things just work

Bug (sort of): When you are in the control panel, and click something like Snarkmarks, you can't easily go back to the control panel itself.
It would be cool to have a "return" button there.

Yeah I think you're right about returning to the first page of a tab being tricky... simple solution, I've changed selected tabs so that they remain as clickable links, so you can always go back to a tab's main page.
CTRL+F5 to refresh your stylesheets if the links suddenly appear as unstyled
Also, new accounts automatically get a random avatar now... but it wasn't being assigned correctly. More fix0ring

When attempting to edit an article as Admin, it doesn't load an 'edit' page to actually make changes or delete an article.

lol
And new bug found: when you click a profile's user name, like mine, the numbers are one paragraph (if that's the right word) too high.
For example, after Website it says "Mar 24th 2009" but that should be after "last seen"
