Some lovely Altec speakers and a really spinkee looking black kb/speakers/monitor setup

Funny thing is, I've actually had (most of) this set up for 2 and a half years now and it still kicks ass for the most part Going to get a lovely new Pentium 4 Prescott or something in the summer though and make sure it's futureproof for 3 years or so!

Personally I'm not a fan of alienware due to their overpricing of parts just for the brand name. Newegg is alright, but I live in Canada and NCIX.com has stores a few mins walk from my place so I buy from them and assemble myself.

9800 pro 128mb (in the mail)

420 watt supply

80 gig Hard Drive

My laptop is a P4 2.66 gHz, 15" screen. 512 memory, pretty nice ATI mobile card - still runs UT2K3 silky-smooth maxed out at 1024x768... not bad for a mobile system!

Old systems include a Thunderbird 1.33, Athlon 800, K6-3 450, K6-2 400, and an 800mHz Sony Vaio laptop.

My system is marked for upgrade after I finish paying for that silly "engagement ring" thing and get a decent income built up. [addsig]

Haha, mines really crap - getting an upgrade soon to a P4 with a fair bit more RAM, and an uber soundcard for music development and mixing. Also a wacom! Anyhow, I digress..

frag, i doubt it bud...i have so much "s**t", that i didnt want to bore you guys with all the crappy little details....it suffices to say, i have 4 systems, the fastest one is a 1.4 athlon, cobbled together with spit, bailing wire, chewing gum, and duct tape...and i still manage a decent living with them.....

and only 331 shopping days till christmas....

Sounds cool, I love getting new instruments and making (or at least trying) to make halfway good sounds.. I have 6 guitars, a bass, 3 Amps of various watt, 5 didgeridoos, 2 keyboards, 5 bongos.. only small - AT THE MOMENT!!

I've got some other random mutant PC things laying around my house, but those are mostly just projects that went too far (the CD player, a really ghetto flashlight (made with a PSU, a light blub (a full one, this time) and way more electrical tape than I'm comfortable with) etc.) [addsig]
