This is a a discussion topic for the map "dm_necessity" by Plutonic which can be found here

Map description:

In the oppressed City17, abandoned train terminals offer refuge from the domination of the Combine. By necessity, decayed structures and detritus of the past will be used as cover in a last-ditch battle for survival.

This highly connected map provides a combination of close-quarters and semi-open combat with z-axis potential. It is intended for 2-6 players.

A very nice, surprisingly small and dense map with quite a few interesting spots. Layout is near-perfect and climbing up that huge train car feels great. Maybe the RPG is a little to easy to get. Also you can enter a vent which I don't think is supposed to be entered because of the nodraw texturing inside.

The brushwork is very solid and looks great in most places. Maybe the wall details could be a little finer, they are a bit too big, rectangular and blocky for a HL2DM map. As I said earlier, there might be too many too similar tile-textures which do not fit to each other very well IMO.

The map could handle more physics props. Especially since some of the available ones are a little dissatisfying (the blue bench doesn't seem to fly around quite the way it should, for example).

Anyway. Very solid map. Recommendable for those looking for a smaller map for fast frags and good movement.
