This is a a discussion topic for the map "Valhalla" by Exocet which can be found here

Map description:

Backstory:

The TSA is called upon to eradicate a Kharaa infestation in a sector of the thermonuclear power complex Kraken-4 on the frozen planet of Valhalla, operated by mega-corporation Gyrfalcon Energy. The Kharaa have already established a hive in the reactor core, and is rapidly breeding additional lifeforms in order to infest the entire complex. Kraken-4 generates nearly 100% of all the electricity on Valhalla; if it is lost, the colonies on Valhalla will not survive the harsh climate of the planet.

Although the weather may be freezing, the battle for control of Kraken-4 will surely be heated.

I like the brush work, my only concern is with the lighting. I cant remember the numbers i used to compile the rad in the old hl1 days (2 years ago) but check the internet, my opinion, raise contrast and make lights give more brightness, that will look more realistic and cool.

Again, nice work, maybe a layout pic to comment the gameplay?

Reminds me of Unreal Tournament.
Or maybe Unreal Tournament reminds me of Natural Selection?

It's crisp, I like it.

OK, Christmas is over. You need to fix the screens now.

http://www.snarkpit.net/editing.php?page=tutorials&game=HL2&id=158

I like the snowy screenshots, they look fresh. The others look too dark and overused, there's too many generic corridor-like sci-fi stuff out there. If I were you, I'd try to get some more out of those snowy outside area's and focus less on the dark inside area's.
