This is a a discussion topic for the map "Midnight Harvest" by jarhchief which can be found here

Map description:

Welcome to Midnight Harvest, an intense, story driven campaign, featuring 4 maps. Set Around the huge colony of Long Dawn located on the planet Midnight Harvest, which is owned and ran by the GeoTerra Corperation.

One of Synteks major rivals, Doing everything from farming, to Scientific research for its own company. Not Much is Known, about its current situation, except for a huge swarm attack and then shortly losing contact.

Current alert is level 5, and thats why you're here, Get down to the planet help them evacuate the colonists, Kill the hive, and get the hell out of there in one peace.

Cool I downloaded Alien Swarm yesterday haven't got around to playing it though. My brother is quite keen on me trying it out so I better play it soon lol. It's nice to see people making custom content for it.

Youtube videos look good, I "liked" them both. smiley

Wow, this campaign looks awesome, and with such a high quality!

I love that there is a story to go along with this, and everything seems to 'fit' within it, I appreciate things like that.


I haven't been able to beet it, because I haven't been able to get a game with any people yet. But this certainly looks like a pro-player map. Meaning, I'm guessing you'd need to be pretty darn experienced to play this campaign. But watching the video I realize it was just two of you guys, so maybe it would be a little more tolerable to my level of skill to play it with all 4. But this map certainly doesn't have any down time. I like it! -Now to find a game for it!

-How long did it take to make this for ya?

Only half the campaign is done so far, still working on the third map,

And the two of us were playing it on easy xD
Also expect the maps to get tougher on Hard/Insane in future updates

And its taken just over 150 hours so far for the two maps, Which i expect will probley more than double for the next two maps
