This is a a discussion topic for the map "Encore" by DrLambda which can be found here Map description: This is a small labtype map with oodles of awful injokes and random Dominion cards littered all over the map. It started as a map in one of our infamous fast-mapping contests (Who can create the coolest map in an hour?) and became littered with cards because the other contestants needed more than an hour. After the map was tested extensively (I'm talking about a few hours of drunken gaming), i added a few "funny" advertising images, some eye candy and another room.
After another LAN party, i finally got off my lazy ass and finished it. So here it is in all it's glory, looking not much worse when sober. Map screenshots: Screenshots for: Encore

Does it look that bad on the screenshots or is there simply no HLDM community left? Not that i expected raving reviews, but one or two feedback posts would be nice smiley

I know how you feel, take a look at my EverWar map, 52 downoads and 456 veiws.
Sure its Sven Co-op, but noone even had the time to post based on the screenshots.
I think the problem is that most of the regulars around here are Source guys now, and anyone else doesn't have the time.

By the way, I've decided to break the loop of hypocrisy and post about your map.

Great lighting, needs variation.
Great layout.
Cleverly marked egon trap.
Texturing and construction are good.
Weapon placement seems decent(I only booted it up for 5-10 min what can I say?).
Ambience is great.

All around decent HLDM map. I give it an honest 6:10, considering avarage HLDM maps are 3-4:10 (from a 5-10 min runthrough).


Now remember kids. Asking questions is a good way to get censored by the government.
