This is a a discussion topic for the map "Overload (Op4RA)" by Degenatron which can be found here Map description: This is a 2-8 player deathmatch arena (26 spawn points total). The map consists of three major areas connected by a wide-open loop. Every weapon except the penguins is present, although the more powerful weapons take extra effort to get.

The map also contains a set of power-ups. 2 Regens, 2 Longjumps, 2 Armors, and 1 Death rune.

Future plans for this map include support for "multipower" play (an endless supply of each powerup) and enviromental hazards in the "core".

This map needs playtesting! Please help! Map screenshots: Screenshots for: Overload (Op4RA)

Beautiful work, though I wish you'd made it thirteen years ago -- the mapping community would have been salivating!

Thanks, and you're right. However, I'm trying to get my skills back up, and the best way to do that is start where I stopped.

Not to mention, there's still a few of us die-hards that still play this old mod. I have yet to find anything that matches the frenetic pace of HLDM / Op4.

Maybe in a month or two I'll dust off that old DoD:S map that's laid half-finished for almost as long! Baby steps.
