Wow I like this very much. The terrain looks great. I have started that terrain mapping with all triagnles its fun takes some time. I must say you have perfected terrain, make another beautiful map impress more

Thanks yeah, triangle terrain can take a while to do but the end result is worth it. No more beautiful maps for CS as this is my last one.

The bridge in the 3rd shot doesn't look like it lines up with the cliff very well, is it just the angle?

Errr, it doesn't line up with the far end but it should be wide enough not to cause too many problems. tbh i wanted more rickety looking bridges but ran out of time, ho-hum.

How long did it take you to make your rocks in those screenies?

It took maybe 16 hours to do the basic rocks and terrain layout but thats a _very_ basic layout with no waterfall, buildings etc. and the terrain was made out of big brushes. It helps if you create a set of template rock brushes, texture them and then copy and paste.

Its hard to say how long it took to do the rest as it was all done im my spare time over 4/5 weeks - it was mostly vertex manipulating the rocks and adding irregular shaped rocks to make them feel a bit more random.

btw, you don't need CS to have a run around in the map, it should work ok in HL as all the media is there except for the skybox, snowfall in the desert looks very strange

Waterfall looks cool, and I like the setting.

Yea what force flow said *rolls eyes* , the only problem i had was the lay out , i could only find one bombsite, but thats probably me, and maybe the light could be a bit dimmer, other than that, great map, love thtee architecture on the rocks and those stepping ice stones and the water fall. Good job!

Really like the rockwork and the style in general, however some of it is a little simplistic in places.
