Yeah , it`s me again! Not much to say , just wanna introduce my newest "speedmapping" product dm_Osiris !

I wouldn`t like to rename my map , so , is it evil if there would two dm_Osiris exist ?

KIIIA I really like your maps and this one is no exception. Makes me wanna go on vacation somewhere tropical! Anyhoo my only concern here is that rock texture (which is very good on its own) looks kind of out of place here. As for the name thing his real name is Adam Hawkins; Orph just calls him master because he's into that dominatrix-type stuff.

i only use the term, when or where its appropriate.. this is a mapping forum, talking about a map, and their authors.. if i feel that said author is my master, well its my choice i suppose.

i will one day be a master,myself...

its an honorific title, not a suck-up or domineering one.

Yes , that`s the reason why i found nobody! I searches all names beginning with M.

K , i didn`t know about his map , so i in fact wasn`t even able to steal a name right?

But if it annoyes him , he can tell me , and i will change NOTHING !

No , just kiddin` ! In this case i would rename the map

I smell a good map with bad Egypt textures and the poorest name choice known to man. Name it MUMM-RA!!!

Yeah, nice map - the textures are too simple, and gaudy. And the lighting is far too bright..

Right, the map. TBH, I don't like the modern-metal and egypt-rock theme much. I would've preferred it if you'd chosen textures which go better with the sandstone. Plus, the lighting is too bright, so you're losing a lot of the ambience you could get with proper shadows.

Oh, and why does that big cube in the middle have that cartoony black border?

Heh, just saw the thread and noticed it was called 'dm_osiris'. Not a problem with me if you leave your map with the same name, though others might complain if it overwrites a copy of my map (not likely but whatever ).

Orph: I don't see myself as a master in anyones eyes, though i'm grateful for the compliment. I don't spend anywhere near enough time mapping these days to warrant such a compliment.

hmm think about that a moment.

i don't map often either, but i consider myself at least as good at it as when i stopped.

accept the compliment, but if it makes you feel better about it look at it this way. the compliment is only as valuable, as the value you place upon the person giving it to you.

i may not be qualified to give such..

This is a really nice map, and its a real shame it wasn't done in time for the contest as it would have been a real contender for the winning position IMO. Good job throughout smiley
