Yeah, I've read those tutorials. The fog thing is good (Except it doesn't work when you have a full square are to fill).

His sprites are nice, but no use for my current needs. I got a friend to download Maud'Dibs (Damn that names familar from somewhere) texture sprites for a red glow to make what CampaigneJunkie suggested [addsig]

No, haven't seen that... I just remember him as a username from some half-life site, but I don't remember which one. [addsig]

It's a scifi book. I supose there must be a movie but I've never seen it either. Worth a read if you are into that sort of thing. [addsig]

Dune is a movie as well I think... It's got the Patrick Steward Guy from Star Trek (Picard) in it [addsig]

Updated screenshots!

To start off, there has to be this screenshot. Still some updating to take care of.

New scientist dude. He likes to fall through floors to reach his destination, but at least he tries.

Scientist examining the hard drive on the cart

Ahhh! Turret

No more turret, no more throughfare

Updated Control room [addsig]

First pic = v nice

I love those red sprites tyou have on the vent shaft. I'm not sure I'm a big fan of the textures, biut that's your choice.

I think you need some more interest in those hallways. Just using intermittent, rather than continuous lighting would help allot. It's just too bright and uniform. If this is the look you are going for, than maybe some detailing on the cieling? vents, pipes, etc...

There are like 3 versions of the Dune movie.

Gwil meant that you should get rid of that yellow cris-cross texture on the light fixtures, I think. I would agree.

Nice curved tunnel, btw. [addsig]

New screenies. All of these are sans VIS/RAD because those take aboot 3 hours to run.

Puny lights fixed

The curved 'S' shaped hallway goes to here. Ahead, a turret will activate...

Sort of 'activate' Boom! As predicted, this means you must take the long and dangerous route (Of course!). Xen lab!

I swear I took another screenshot of the other side of the room... You enter the room, which in long route styles, has lava under the grates One of hte grates of course gets broken before you go over it. This is after that point.

By the way, env_beam's piss me off. They tend to not fire. [addsig]

Holding off work temporarily... Mappers block. I will likely just convert this to Half-Life 2, cause there's no way in hell it'll be done before HL2 is out.

And yes, this post purpose is to get more comments since they seem to have dies out [addsig]

Sounds like it would be fun. But one question... how will you kill G-Man if he is made of steel?! He sparks when you shoot him! =P

Who says he has to fall over and die? <br> <br>Really, it'll be on a space station (Where he finally runs to). At that point you'd have to Destory key things (Such as oxygen tanks), and place detonation charges on the fuel tanks (Which will simply be solid objects added when you goto those tanks... Can't code myself.). Then once your done... If you survive (There will be a countdown), it cuts to a camera scene of the station blowing up. You win if it blows up, but whether you live depends on if your fast enough. <br> <br>Its really something that I'll continue to enjoy working on. <br> <br>For those that want to see my most up-to-date (As well as the older) progression through making this, you can see it at: <a href="http://www.vlatitude.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=6493" target="_blank">http://www.vlatitude.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=6493</a>
