Ok, thats fine and dandy, if ya don't quite appreciate a killbox map.  If the 'pit' doesn't "approve" of killbox maps, that's ok too.  Everyone is entitled to their own opinion...so why do you call people who enjoy playing a killbox type map stupid?  You've made statements like that now in several threads..

Course, yes, it is your opinion, but that is saying that many many people are stupid...possibly thousands of people (how many people have played Killbox in the last 5 years..how many spinoffs?)

Are all of these thousands of people stupid?  Is Korn stupid because some of his m8's and him play a killbox-type map and enjoy the time fraggin each other?  Am I stupid for making killbox maps and enjoying killing my m8's in it?

I just wanna know why you think killbox maps and people who play them are stupid.  If it's just your opinion, that's fine, but really I think saying something like that on a public forum where people look up to you and value your opinion, well you should have some reasoning behind making such a bold statement.

hmm, you seem to lack the ability to notice when a discussion goes wrong too.. its sad really, cause i feel your intentions are for the good, but you seem intent on traveling the wrong path..

i admit, many topics go south, especially with doc involved, but, i suggest you read either more slowly, or more between the lines as it were, before you place any blame, either of me, or doc..

many topics aren't what they seem, but it does require a bit of study on your part to get the nuances..

if you think me in error, i suggest you re-read it till your perceptions change.. or avoid the thread entirely..

if you like, i can insult your intelligence and point out the exact location, where this thread went from neutral to specific in its attack.. but i think your are smart enuff to figure it out without to much encouragement.. all it would take, is a bit of "wanting to" .. seems to me, all you wanted to do was stop the discussion, not find out why it took place at all ..

If you ask me Orph, that's where it started.  Doc was just showing some of his maps and it was a valuable contribution to the thread.  Them two posts are offensive IMO and I could see that they were aimed at Doc.

you know, i wake up this morning, and see this and think, "how can anyone be this stupid?" the fact that i am so royally pissed, and the fact that SP was acting up this morning, is the only reason i am responding this late in the day about it..

also the fact that had you been standing here, there would have been no doubt in your mind how grossly you messed up, but, since this is the net, i am stuck with 2 options..

1) rant about how damned stupid you really are, with a bunch of profanities. or,

2) use a bit of psychology to make you look like the stupid s**t you are..

i chose #2, cause at this point, i don't really think #1 would do, you aren't smart enuff to grasp it without my help, and cussing would just make you feel justified in your stupidity..

also the fact that you quoted my sentences out of context, adds to your error..

read this way, it makes much more sense and doesn't in any way sound wrong at all, but lets break it down so your simple mind can grasp it..

1)these types of maps are extremely frowned upon here, not to hurt your feelings, but don't expect much enthusiasm..

whether it is 1 person or 100 people, if this sentiment is held by anyone, it is not an inaccurate comment..

2)from anyone of.... shall we say, reputable experience..

i can think of at least a dozen new mappers , all on par with docs quality of releases, and not one of them would qualify as reputable, why does this have to be about doc?

3)stand back, pay attention to whom actually responds to them, and base your decision on that..

i can count prolly 8 to 10 people whom commented within this thread, and in all but two of the individuals, the comments were ranging from "strained neutrality" to " "general" to "humorously neutral" and in the last two it was "aggressively antagonistic" and out right "accusatory" by naming names..

what i cannot understand is, just because this quote could be doc, why does it have to be?

i was so pissed i couldn't believe that you got it wrong, how could anyone be this stupid? and then 1/2 way thru my original rant it dawned on me... "HE BELIEVES ITS TRUE" .. the fact that i said it, didn't upset you near as much as the fact that it did indeed qualify as doc.. you weren't mad that i posted it, you were pissed that i once again pointed out that this is doc.. in your eagerness to vindicate doc,you actually validated my past comments about him, this post COULD have been about doc, but wasn't..

it never occurred to you that it also fit dozens of other people as well, all you could see was i was once again rubbing it in that doc makes this sort of trash..

you should be ashamed of yourself on many levels..

1) i have never hid behind , or minced words when it came to my feelings about doc, i usually come right out and say it, no holds barred.

2) the fact that you deliberately took it the wrong way, in my mind speaks mounds, its as if you want doc and i to continue fighting, in spite of you claiming otherwise..

3)just because the comment fit docs profile, doesn't automatically mean it has to.. why must always be ABOUT doc???

in fact in all the posts here, even the pathetically childish ones of docs, no one really accused anyone by name except YOU!! you in effect told me to shut up, BY NAME, as if i did something wrong, just because you felt it was true..

if anyone should be offended in all this mess it should by rights be me.... the fact that my comment could fit doc is irrelevant, the fact that you singled me out by name, is the worse of all...

either way, nothing i said was aimed at doc specifically, the fact that if fit, is beside the point..

i would suggest , in the future to keep your feelings in check, till you are certain of your accusations.. cause no place in my post did i single doc out, but you didn't hesitate one second to name me by name..

for the record doc, yes i admit my comment could have been directed at you, BUT till i specifically name you as the person i am doing it to, ITS NOT YOU!!!

since V4 began i have not one single time been rude, mean or hateful to DOC_ROCK, and i am just about tired of the false accusations from anyone..

sim you owe me a big appology, and if you are smart, you will break your neck doing so...
