I am learning as I go on this one. I'm hoping to actually finish something for once. This map was one of my favorites back in the HLDM1 days. I played it mostly on AG in tdm2, arena, ffa, and sometimes lts. I'm hoping to get it close to the original but it is a remake and the new engine and editor can make it so much more. Feel free to post comments or helpful suggestions. I may or may not use them and will most likely try to mention all the help I got.

As for the map itself, it looks fairly true to the original but doesnt look to really improve on it. I also think the lighting should be, like the original, brighter. StalkX was always a map loved for how it plays not how it looks, and being well lit so as to make players easily visible was one reason why it worked.

that is the dumbest thing i have ever read. contact is a courtesy, not a requirement. but.. if your sense of honor requires it.. i can at least respect that.

i say this again, it is a courtesy, not a requirement.
listen to your heart, any other consideration is irrelevant.

try using the thesaurus, i found "Ambush" to be a suitable replacement for the word "Stalk"
i have not seen your map nor do i have any personal interest in it, but i feel its a waste of time worrying about the feelings of some mapper, to busy, or to unreachable.
i respect many mappers, and may alter the looks some to keep from looking out right stolen, but i doubt i would ditch a map simply because i couldn't obtain their permission to use their ideas. in most cases i am their peer so permission is not particularly on the top of my list of importance.
