I don't think that the sound goes away when you go underwater and get out. However, your suit will charge up again.

still a great map maze man. i wish i had had time to critique it before its release, i noticed a few things i would have mentioned in one. none blatant errors though.
i just wish that annoying water sound would not happen, i can always count on my power running to not function when its doing it.

Looks pretty good, except the light house looks kind of squared off; try making it a cylinder with more sides to add more detail and less square.

I like the island idea. Looks good except that it seems really bright or there is no angled shadows. It seems that the light_env is facing directly down.

I really like it...one thing is that from the top of the lighthouse you can see the big square of land all the way around it.

This map plays well, looks great, one of the best hl2dm maps yet, and thats not just my opinion, the server packs for this map and players are loving it, great job

I don't think the brightness is a bad thing. It makes it look very much like a Pacific Island.

My friends and I have found a possible bug where the 'underwater' sound you hear when you fall in the sea continues after respawn, until you disconnect and rejoin. Don't know if this is specific to the map or it's a HL2 problem.

Otherwise, we're enjoying it. Probably the best user-made map I've played yet.

I have been running this map on my server since I started it up 2 months ago. It has a good mix of openness and tight spaces. I have a 12 slot server and it fills up everytime this map cycles around! The only real bugs are the ones Valve needs to fix and the wall under the peer that you can walk into and hide.

We run this map in our rotation and recommend it for your server. It has good game play, handles lots of players, is fun to play and looks great!

One of my favourite maps for HL2DM. The only thing that really distracts me is that there are no cubemaps. It's strange to see a non-existing sunset mirroring on my gun.

Not really sure whats up with the cubemaps problem. There are definitely cubemaps in there, you can download the source .vmf file and check yourself. Any more details on the problem? Screenshots?

I'm not going to re-release the map, but it would be nice to know what the problem is for future reference.

Thanks.

Played on this map plenty of times, has quite varied, vertical gameplay which is cool and rather different, plenty of little details and looks really great. Very fun to play; a great map!

Also props on releasing the .vmf source file - I know most people don't want to do this and I entirely understand it, but it's quite respectable that you did.
