hi,i use worldcraft 3 but i play cs with steam 1.6

but now in ur Build programs TAB in ur options menu u have to say the exe of cs
will it also work when u select the steam.exe?
in ur game configuration tab it also asks for texture format and map type and i can only select halflife/tfc

id like to know if it is bad when u cant select cs cause i want to be serious in making maps but i dont want to begin the wrong way

I feel like were going round in circles. Wrong forum again.

+ steam.exe is the steam program executable, It has nothing to do with hl itself.

steam/steamapps/mail@mail/counter-strike/hl.exe is probably what ure looking for.

The "Half-Life editing" forum is meant for all editing related questions, such as yours. The maps forum is for posting screenshots, beta version, and newly released maps. [addsig]

if you have a map, partial or otherwise, that needs commented on, "MAPS" is your choice.

if you have a problem in making one real or imaginary, "EDITING" is your choice.

if you have some bullshit to spread around, "GENERAL" be the choice
