New map for CS:Source. Pretty good I think.

I am oh so big a fan of optimized screens, but i have to say that these ones are annoyingly little.

I don't critique CS maps generally, but perhaps this thread will get you the results you desire.

Er, right, you being an executive and world-wide-internet-guru explains why you're wasting your time on my piss-poor website, and why you failed to notice that at the end of the day this is built around a hobby whose only link with money goes so far as the yearly hosting bill- maps are not a market. And why your website has a ridiculously long list on the right of books, that no-one in their right mind would read in that format. If you people paid me to do this then I'd quit, form a dedicated team and show you real information architecture...
Feel free to give me some helpful criticism though, rather than saying this site should be more like an online magazine and have a whole editorial team working to ensure the masses have access to the hottest new maps. We offer tutorials and the ability to show off your level, and it would be nice to link the whole process together, but without the manpower to organise it all it's not really feasible.
And you want to know why there's "no traffic" in here? It's because most people, like yourself, just turn up and expect fawning praise, without helping other people with their maps. Without a link built into the SDK directing people here, the volume of passers-by simply isn't enough to ensure that there is a large, core group of selfless/map hungry individuals. VERC is only more helpful for that one reason. Why not go help out with the other CS maps here, such as cs_assault_sg, instead of complaining that the community isn't dying to help you out?
On the one hand, I am astounded with your arrogance (and nonsense about 'cannons'), but on the other a bit miffed at the unhelpfulness so far shown in this post. But without charging people $10/year for memberships, that's what you should expect.
As for your map- I, like many others here, don't play CS, though from the screenshots it looks decent, though nothing new or amazing. Nice skybox!
I returned an insult in response to insulting sarcasm, perhaps it was too subtle or complex, and the meaning lost or missed. But bad manners need repercussions. It's just one's moral duty to society. There is far too much talk here about incompetence elsewhere, when those other realms have both competence and civility. Arrogance is a useful trait at times. It is not always unwarranted. But my cast at arrogance is merely the presentation of a mirror. And a justified one, I think.

I think it would be a good idea to lock this thread.
Anyways... Due to a virus on my computer that won't allow my computer to start up normally, I can't do a review of this map, or really do anything for awhile during the time that by dad tries to fix my computer.

That's what happens when you don't use enough smilies on the internet
Anyway, back the map...
Reno;
I understand. I'll make another attempt at the displacements. I think, the first few times you make them, in the editor, it's hard to judge what you're doing, and too easy to overdo it, rather than use them for subtlety.
Well, I did overscale a few of the textures in order to avoid cutting brushes, or to make up for textures without A,B and C variants. But it sounds like I cant get away with it if you noticed it.
I keep having problems with overstretching or shrinking the overlays, which need to fit into certain spaces. Do you know if there is a way to scale the texture on an overlay, so that you can fill a space with the overlay, then scale the texture to fit the space?
Thank you very much for your comments.
