Well, like i said, Steam deleted EVERYTHING of mine that i had collected for the past 2 years that had anything to do with Source, (since the last time Steam deleted everything). Let me know what you think of the idea? for a game like this, and i might try again. I was pretty far into production, i had several custom models lined up that i had made myself. Plenty of custom textures that i had also worked on, with bump mapping and the like. I was thinking of including parallax mapping. These screens are of the completely walled in sections of the maps, and do not include any custom content. If you would like to see some more screens, check out my site under construction: http://members.cox.net/lancon/genecy_maps.htm . I also had a few .vcd's ready and working in the map for several of the characters, so perhaps i could receive some advice before picking up the tab again, and make it better... Thanks.

In pic2:
Cieling and floor look a little un-detailed. The glow effect on the cieling lamps are nice, but I would have figured that if the guy has been living in that apartment for sometime, there would stains on the floor. (food stains, liquid stains, etc).
Also, try going for a different refrigerator prop. I highly doubt a single bachelor is going to have such a small fridge
More screenshots are kinda nessasary to say anything else -- apart from this, it looks okay
the idea is certainly original, too

I can't play any HL2 maps right now but the sceenshots alone look very tasty. The lighting is very nice. I'd give the wall/floor/ceiling textures another pass. They don't seem to fit together 100%.
